When you set up your Payment Method, we’ll automatically collect your payment from the provided bank account each billing cycle. There’s nothing you need to do, just make sure there are sufficient funds available.

If your bike is locked or slow, it might be because it was remotely restricted due to overdue payments.

Additionally, all rental payment obligations apply when the bike is in your possession, even if it's not in active use. For more details about payment terms, refer to your specific rental agreement.

⚠️ Note: Zoomo cannot process payments in advance. All recurring invoices are automatically issued by the system.

Understanding Your Payment Obligations

Having a clear understanding of your payment responsibilities is essential for avoiding interruptions. Payments remain due under all circumstances of possession, including during repairs, emergencies, or when the bike is in active use. This section elaborates on these scenarios to ensure you remain consistent with your agreement.

What Happens If Your Payment Is Overdue?

If an invoice payment is not received promptly, the following actions may be taken:

Payment responsibilities persist even during unforeseen interruptions, such as repairs or service issues. Payments may only cease once the bike is returned to Zoomo.

  • A late payment fee will be applied to your account.

  • Your bike will be remotely locked, and you will be unable to use it.

  • Your bike's speed will be limited, and you won't be able to use it at its full capacity.

  • Our recovery team may be dispatched to recover the bike.

  • A recovery fee may be applied to your account.

  • The outstanding debt will be transferred to debt collectors, which may negatively impact your credit score.

  • In cases of non-cooperation, we may involve the police.

How to Unlock Your Bike?

  1. Log in to the MyZoomo App.

  2. Go to the payments section and pay any outstanding invoices on your account.

  3. Once all invoices are paid, our system will automatically update the bike's speed and unlock it. This can take up to two hours.

Before We Send Your Derestriction Command

To ensure your e-bike's derestriction command is successful, please confirm the following:

  • Your bike is on. The bike needs to be powered on to receive the command.

  • The battery is in place and charged. Make sure the battery is both charged and securely installed in your bike.

  • You have a strong cell signal. Your bike needs a strong cellular connection to receive the command.

The easiest way to avoid these issues is to make your payments on time through the MyZoomo app. Timely payments ensure you can continue to use your Zoomo bike without any interruption and avoid additional fees.
